This course emphasizes the importance of the basic principles of project management as well as the specific techniques required to implement this unique way of doing things. The issues of project selection, initiation, implementation, and control will be addressed. The nature of the project manager's interaction with the rest of the organization will also be addressed.

what tools are used to plan and schedule projects;

what factors contribute to the development of high-performance project groups;

how organizations and managers should identify and manage the risks associated with projects;
